Megan and Troy are on holiday and are traveling to USA (San Francisco, Chicago, Cleveland, NYC, Vegas) from Australia.
We hosted the Cleveland leg of their uber vacation. We had a GREAT time hanging out and relaxing with them.

Quick Recap:
2010-09-03: Becka and I picked up MEgan and Troy from the airport after work. We quickly hit up the Rock and Roll Hall
of Fame. Troy had been attending Jiu-Jitsu classes in each city they had been visiting, so we headed to the east-side for
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. We found a new bar that had amazing food. We ended the day with some Malley's ice cream. Mmmmmm
2010-09-04: Today we had a full day with plenty of walking. We got a snack at Light Bistro in Tremont. Then we hit the
MetroPark Zoo. Leah lost phone at some point. Then we got our shop on at Beechwood Mall. Troy got some Air Jordans,
which are like 50% cheaper than the shoes in Australia. Megan got some come cool clothes at Express. For dinner we
went to Ho-Wah next door. As usual Mama and Dad made way too much food. Being completely stuff did not deter us
from conquering the Ultimate Sundae. Yes, if you are keeping track that would be twice in less than 24 hours.
2010-09-06: On their last day in Cleveland we took them to Giant Eagle to get some candy and treats. After that we took
a quick peek at Dick's sporting goods and then off to the airport

Yay! We went to Casa de Edwards today and have a fun filled Codonics BBQ/pool party! Even the rain and the thunder
didn't stop the party. Becka and I brought some potstickers, and veggie plates.

Yay More CAKE! Headed over to Martin's to celebrate Kyndra's 3rd BDay. There was tons of people and tons of good
food fomr Siam Cafe... Mmmmmm. We all had a good time running around and burning off cake and Chinese food.
Leah, Becka, and I got Kyndra some cool coloring books and Kai Lan stuff.

Yay Did a surprised Mama BDay party while most of the fam was in Columbus this Saturday. We had a GREAT time at
the Ohio State Fair. There was soo much deep fried stuff: buckeyes, mac n cheese, oreos, twinkies just to name a few. I
even got to go down the potato sack slide once. At one point we split up from Mama, se we decided to take a cheesy
picture and made an iron poster.

After the fair we went back to Teresa and Gary's to play a board game. Yeah the guys won. The next time the girls
should bone up on Ms. Pac Man and The Incredible Hulk.... long story. Mama enjoyed all her presents and dinner...
up until she couldn't pay the bill. LOL!

got our game on... 5 LCDs and 1 baby.

in my future.

Tooo bummed out about LeBron to do a proper update. Soooo I'll just do a quick mini-update-a-palooza.

2010-07-07 Jenna Misc Album: Went to Schnitzel Haus and had awesome Germany food. Then hit up East Coast Custard.
2010-07-08 Codonics Ice Cream Social Album: To beat the heat Gary K bought everybody in engineering ice cream... Mmmm.
2010-07-09 Boo-LeBron Album: Lebron announce he is leaving for Miami and all of Cleveland implodes. Created a quick
album with all the sad pics from CLE. Just my quick 2 second rant... What gets me most is they way LeBron did it. I understand
it's a business and he can take his game where ever he so chooses.... but you don't have to have a 1 hour special on yourself
and dump Cleveland for the whole nation/world to see. It was totally mismanaged from a PR stand point. At least I will no
longer undecided when LeBron and Kobe play
2010-07-09 Built-A-Kitty Album: Took Becka to Build-A-Bear so she can make her Hawaiin Hello Kitty.
2010-07-10 Pig Roast Album: Got invited to pig roast. Ate lots of piggy. Tooo stuffed.

Yay! Jenna, Becka and I went up to PIB for the weekend. Went went up Saturday afternoon and had a
Super-RELAXING weekend.

Took Jenna to the Indians game. We've never been let down by the fireworks show at the Jake.... errrr I mean the
Prog(ressive Field). The weather was nice. This was the first time we got the AMPM All you can Eat tickets. You get to
eat all the popcorn, hotdogs, nachos, and peanuts you can stomach. Mmmmmm. In the end we put away 5 hotdogs,
2 nachos, 2 cups of peanuts, and 3 cups of popcorn. Unfortunately, the Indians lost (again). We had the PERFECT
seats for the fireworks show! My favs are the loud little ones that make a boom noise.

Sooo the local minor league team offered Lebron a max contract for a month for Lebron night. They gave out 1000 free
tshirts. We (Jenna, Becka, and I) met up with Ashley, Chris, and Alicia to take in the game. Boy did we get our money's
worth. It went all the way to the 12th inning. Half the gang bailed out around the10th inning. Unfortunately the Crushers got
crushed. Oh well. We all had good time relaxing and eating snacks.

Yay! Jenna is in town for the week! Today we celebrated her BDay! It was a baseball themed BDay Party. Everyone
wore baseball gear. We played wiffle ball and had a BBQ cook out. The movie for the night was Major League.
Baskin-Robbins did it again... and made an AWESOME baseball cake.

Yay for Father's Day! Leah, Becka, and I headed up to Ho-Wah to surprise dad with a card. I drew a chubby panda
bear, cause we got dad anUrban Active gym pass. After Ho-Wah, Mama, Leah, Becka, and I went to Brio for brunch.
Then we shopped the calories away at the Rack.

YAY! for anniversaries. It's that time again kiddies. Becka and I made our yearly pilgrimage to Pittsburgh for our
anniversary. On the way there we stopped off at the Grove City Prime Outlet mall, so Becka could check out the Juicy
store. The drive was ok... excluding the monsoon that hit us on the way to the outlet mall and the 15 minute wait to
cross the Liberty Bridge.

The view from the restaraunt was cloudy but spectacular. The food was fresh and AMAZING as usual. Becka had the
ahi tuna, and I had stuffed jumbo sea scallops. What were they stuffed with you might ask yourself... crab cake of course.
Mmmmm. Surprisingly what stole the show was their new dessert. It was called an Oreo lollipop. It consisted of a ball
of chocolate mousse, dipped in chocolate, and rolled in Oreo cookies... oh yeah there was creamy gooey caramel in the
center too. WOW!

When we got back home, we swung by the McDonald's to have a nightcap which consisted of a sweat tea and a
small fry.

Today we went to Dad's place so Mama S. could get some Chinese food and see mom and dad. The food was top-notch
as usual. We had soup with shrimp chips, steak, duck, fish, bbq pork, and coconut shrimp. We had a good time stuffing
out faces with Chinese food. Afterwards, we hit up Nordstrom Rack to shop off the calories.

After work we went to Lolita for Mama S's BDay. We all had a great time there. The food again was AMAZING!
Everyone got the roast pig special. This time is was piggy with some beans, spicy sausage, and a little crispy skin to
top it off. It was sooooo good. I know I'll be dreaming about it later. For dessert we had a grab bag of tasty treats.
They had really good Guinness gelato.

Yay Mama S., Leah, and Becka made potato pancakes and blueberry pancakes this morning. Bfast was rounded off
with some sausage from Gibb's Butcher Block Mmmmm.

Later in the day I met up with Teresa, Gary and Mama to hit up the Berea Rib Cookoff. We got half slabs from Texas Pit,
Smokin' T's, and Armadillo's. After we stuffed our faces with meat and corn, we found the only place that sold jumbo beef
ribs. Note to self... Desperado's is where we need to start the rib fest next year. We also won 6 fishes at the ping pong
game tent. Mama, Gary, and I used to do that ALL the time back in the day.

Fun fun. Took Mama S to the Cle Art Museum. It's been around 7 years since I've been to the Art Museum. I used to do
a lot of studying and drawing there. Luckily for us since they are renovating the entire museum admission was FREE.
The didn't have all their exhibits open, but it was good to to walk around. They had some good pieces (Monet, Warhol,
and Rodin Mmmmm).

After taking in the exhibits, we when to Little Italy to eat and buy some snacks. We ate at Trattoria's and then got snacks
at Corbo's Bakery.

Mama Shaffer is in town for the WHOLE week. We went to the West Side Market today to take in the sites and pick up a
couple of things. The weather was AMAZING! When we got there, we parked next to a fresh new BENTLEY! We saw
tons of tasty food. We even picked up some flowers for Mama S's room. After we dropped off our stuff we hit up Gibb's
Butcher Block for their weekly sausage sampling. They have a ton of good/unique sausages there.

Yay! Today is Mike's BDay. We (Becka and I) got him an Uber-Limited-Edition Canon thermos that looks like a Canon
lens. Apparently, only a few hundred were made for a Canon press-release at the last winter Olympics. Regardless, it
looks Super-Cool! Also, he got a cool 3rd Gen Ambient Weather Clock with color changing dial.
